Classic Game Room HD – HAZE for Playstation 3 review Part 1

Author: Part 1 of 2: Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of HAZE for the Playstation 3 PS3 video game console system. Haze is a first person shooter exclusive on the PS3 where you play as Shane Carpenter, a soldier for the mysterious government fundere military groun, Mantel. Developed by the excellent Free Radical, Haze is a completely different game from one of our favorites, Timesplitters. In Time Splitters the gameplay is a bit more solid and the humor is far greater. Haze is a hard and gritty shooter that has an interesting storyline built into it. CGRHD enjoyed it, but it is not without it’s flaws. We aren’t sure if this game trumps vs. Resitance Fall of Man, Halo 3 or Bioshock, but it is worth playing (or at least renting) and enjoying the unique and violent storyline and gameplay in this FPS for the PS 3. Haze has its own proprietary graphics engine and is delivered on a blu-ray disc. The band Korn recorded a song for it apparently (although we aren’t sure if we heard it yet). Haze is not currently available for the Xbox 360, Wii, PC or Atari 7800. When CGR does a review of a new game you gotta ask, is this the best review of Haze, the most subjective review of Haze, the most objective review of Haze, the most gameplay footage of Haze, tips, hints and play videos or does it have the most search terms for Haze? heh i read all the main reviews for this game, and of course, i immediately turned off during the 1st mission.. looks like il have to go and try again :)

What I hated most about Haze is how every squadmate jumps IN FRONT OF YOUR SIGHT, espescially if you want to operate a rocket launcher (Was that on purpose!?).
That, and almost everything else.
Wow they censor fuck on a M rated game. What the hell Free Radical. It would make more sense If this was a T rated game and they wanted to it that way, but Its Mature. -.-
if we shot one of our team mate, they become our enemy? as in 5:08
@chadheck96 You cant see, you start shooting at random moments, and the camera goes all over the place, and some friendlys might be marked as enemys.
@cintaselamanya no. but if you shoot them in the neck you destroy their nectar injector and they just shoot shoot shoot doest care if youre a friend or a foe
i love this game!

@ShadowLivesonForever yeah it gives you a rush which makes you uncontrolable for a few seconds.
he honest, i think the games stupid and isnt entertaining. yeah he said “keep playing, it will get better”. ONLY certain level, but most level sucks and annoying. he is right that the story line is good, but game play over all, it sucks.

That’s bleeped in the game yet they can use all kinds of swear words in this game which they do quite a bit so, that left me wondering what words could’ve been so horrible that they had to bleep out of this game where they were intentionally making dialogue horrible. i like how the drug makes them think theyre the good guys….all while the goverment sits back and laughs at them most likely as they do its bidding under the infuleunce of lies and miss truth..and the necter
@fliipsid3 yeah i dont know what it got such a bad rep…..it doesnt do anything badly or anything. it has a story (while i would have liked it to go deeper) that is quite interesting and makes you think. it has nice invironments, good action and fast gameplay and you have to work things out. iv got a play through of it on my channel when i co opped it…i think its a really good game with a good bit of challenge in it too
