Great video. I have two questions for u. 1) Is this phone really worth buying. 2) Is it really big and heavy in hands or it’s okay. I want your opinion on this please. I like phones with plenty features to keep me occupied. Do u think the N900 will keep me on my toes.

  • 360NextLevel:

Depends what you are going to use it for. Its a phone for the techies! :D
It has a lot of potential and many features. Plus its the 1st nokia handset ive ever seen that is going to get a new OS by the end of this month! I like it & happy with it. 1 thing that i dont like is the weight of it other than that it is absolutely fine.
U just have to remember that not everything and 1 can or are perfect!
iphone great fone, not perfect tho.
Same applies to many other things.

Hey, what is the power app I see on the right hand side of one of the desktops?

  • 360NextLevel:

its Systeminfowidget, available in 1 of the test repositories.
You can also install the desktop command execution widget which is really good to show battery status in % and other info as ip and free space etc

  • ultimatemikku:

Hmm, I have the widget, it’s just showing a ram and proccesor usage….

  • sendashish:

    Hye,

Your video is very good….. i really liked it…. one thing i wanted to know is how is the battery life??? how long ur battery last and how much u used the phone for tat day..???
    please reply

  • 360NextLevel:

@sendashish My battery lasts me 1 full day guaranteed, but usually continues onto 1.5-2 days. Again this can vary depending on amount of downloads , web browsing that i do.
Normally i just keep it connected to wifi or 3G all day with widgets on.
Check out my battery test video, this may give you more info on there.

  • sendashish:

    @360NextLevel

Well, yes, I have seen tat video and also downloaded it so tat in future when i get my n900, i ll do those settings….

and please tell me when are you planning to release videos regarding n900 battery phase 2??

  • 360NextLevel:

@sendashish Well I don’t really plan on doing another battery test video due to the fact that the question/result is already answered. The battery can last upto 1 day full use, confirmed by many folk, it can go over that to a day an a half or 2 just depends on your usage.
If any folk have suggestions or would like to see another particular battery test video then I would be happy to accomodate but I guess most folk know how long the battery can last.

  • sendashish:

    @360NextLevel

Alright, I think you have almost covered everything in battery test video…. and i m satisfied…
anyways thanks for replying and i will definitely get back to u for more questions… now i m watching your zagg shield videos… looking interesting…

  • alexace90:

how do u put a picture behind the menu screens? thanks

  • jennamiah:

does nokia n900 have webcam? say as in your on googletalk or skype isit possible to put cam on whiles talking?

  • 360NextLevel:

@jennamiah unfortunately the front camera is not yet supported so you can’t use it for webcam. Maybe in a future firmware update it will be possible as the hardware is there.

  • jennamiah:

thanks for reply. how comes N97mini has it? and N900 came out after N97mini? cos im reallly looking forward in buying this phone (N900) but want to know if it has webcam. but thanks for letting me know

  • jennamiah:

sorry i just found out it does on this clip called gtalk video on the n900. check it out

  • 360NextLevel:

@jennamiah apparently ive heard it will be available in next PR update which is rumoured to be out this week or soon! But im not sure how many apps will support. I heard of google talk being one of them :)

  • 360NextLevel:

@360NextLevel Oh and i know about the features because the n900 is just abt to be launched in Hong Kong with the new pr 1.2 update and it spoke of these features as well as USSD support etc.

  • jennamiah:

yiiipppy! thanks for letting me know. yes googletalk is the one im looking for others dont really mind if ita there then guess im lucky. thank you very much.

  • rccte89:

@jennamiah it can be use for google talk

  • LozLozIsNomableFSU:

Is the music loud on it? Like, really loud ? :D
    xx

  • 360NextLevel:

@LozLozIsNomableFSU with 2 speakers on it, yeah its loud! But I’ve never really had any reason to blast it as if i do use it to play music or video then I would use either the car stereo if im out or the earphones.

  • LuvDoco:

how is the GPS and maps on this handset? thanks for this great review!

  • prayfawind:

i have an ipod touch,i’ve just order my N900 is the listening to music experience as good or better than the ipod touch

  • 360NextLevel:

@prayfawind ive never used an ipod touch so cant comment on the quality. The n900 has dual speakers and the quality is good even on the headphones. Although I would recommend diff headphones as I personally don’t like the new style of nokia earphones they go right in your ear too much, well too much for my liking anyway lol
