So, what I got is an Acer x3200 with: -a shitty Acer mobo with locked BIOS even though the chipset is nVidia (720a) -a slightly dated AMD Athlon x2 4050e (2.1GHz) -4 Go of no-brand RAM -a DVD Burner/Reader -2x 150Go Hard Drives -nVidia GeForce 9500 GS (512Mo) My project so far is to: 1. Change case and PSU : Antec Three Hundred and Corsair TX-750W 2. Change GPU to a HD4890, GTX 275, HD5770 or HD4870 3. Change Mobo and CPU to DDR3 – Quad or x3 core Athlon or Phenom CPU – SLI or Crossfire compatible 4. Screen, Keyboard, Mouse, Sound Card… I’m going to do this over several weeks as my budget is very limited (I’m still in college).
