Classic Game Room reviews the X-ARCADE TANKSTICK from X-Arcade powered by Xgaming. This massive dual arcade joystick with a trak-ball can be used on PCs with USB inputs and on Sega Dreamcast, PS2 (and PS1), GameCube, PS3 and Xbox 360 with the appropriate adapters. Complex, expensive and difficult to program, the X-arcade Tankstick won’t be for those who aren’t serious about their gaming with some time, money and patience on their site. Awesome arcade-style gameplay is delivered when all is said and done though. For this review the Xarcade Tankstick was tested with PC games before and after programming, Mame emulators, PS2 and Sega Dreamcast. CGR recommends the Dreamstick from Dream Arcade for Xbox 360 because it is a 360 controller disassembled and built into an arcade stick to prevent lag. The Tankstick works well with PC, Dreamcast and PS2 (all tested for this review using adapters) but don’t expect to not do repair work on it. Build quality is questionable given the price but it’s nothing a butter knife and a few hours can’t fix, which is irritating. The Tankstick can be purchased as a massive controller as shown or bought with an X-Arcade stand up arcade machine. Versatility and style may be the X-Arcade Tankstick’s biggest assets, but those really interested in a house-sized joystick may also want to consider a custom job for the same price. In any event, it is impressive and replaces the Dreamcast controller which needs replacing for many games like Capcom vs. SNK 2 …

Classic Game Room reviews GRIP-IT for PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers, the soft, spongy thingy that makes your thumbsticks more comfortable for longer periods of gaming (it does, actually). What may sound like snake oil is a nice way to refine your PS3 or Xbox 360 controller if you feel that the thumbsticks get slippery as you play and your greasy pizza-stained hands wear down the textured surface on your controller sticks.

Classic Game Room reviews RAMPAGE for arcade / PC from the Midway collection of 6 games available with the X-Arcade Tankstick. In rampage you play as one of three monsters named George, Lizzie or Ralph and destroy building, eat people, smash tanks and explode helicopters for points. Watch out! Army men are shooting at you and there are hidden nasties within the buildings that you can accidentally punch. Rampage is all about fun and out of control when played with two or three people at once. Classic Game Room HD reviews TRON for Xbox 360. Four games in one! The concept of a collection of minigames was something of a rarity in 1982 and Tron exploded in arcades with light cycles, spiders, tanks and the MCP. Tron the video game was even more popular than Tron the movie at the time because of an amazing, memorable arcade cabinet and glowing blue joystick. How does Tron on Xbox 360 from XBLA compare? Controls are an issue but the gameplay in Tron still rocks today. Tron is an affordable download from Xbox Live and has Achievement points. Sadly the blue joystick and firing control knob are nowhere to be found and aiming is awkward with the 360 controller. Hey, this is the only video showing Over G Fighters with the Saitek Aviator Joystick!!!!! Totally Exclusive!!! This stick has some minor flaws meaning the throttle can be annoying for the first little bit and the rudder is opposite but all you have to do is think where you want to ruder (left/right) and rotate stick in opposite direction so ur wrist goes where the rudder is going, this is not meant for Over G but you can definently make it work.
