I was one of a number of individuals who were effected by the removal of the other os feature on the ps3. I held out on updating the ps3 for a while but I ultimately updated with the knowledge that I could recreate the experience using my six year old laptop. In this video I recreate an experince similar to the zerogame project. I first run through what you need and then what the finished product should look like. 1st thing 1st what you need: 1. An HDTV with a VGA port 2. A computer, laptop, or netbook with a VGA port (common) 3. a Premium VGA cable -Get one here: tinyurl.com (~) 4. bluetooth or a bluetooth dongle -Get one here: tinyurl.com (~) 5. Ubuntu or for older computers with 256MB of ram or less Xubuntu 10.04. (free) -Order Ubuntu CD: tinyurl.com -Download ubuntu: tinyurl.com -Download xubuntu: tinyurl.com Now for the How-to: 1st Install ubuntu. You can install ubuntu with in windows using wubi or you can boot the live cd and install that way. The windows method is the easiest but there are ample video tutorials on how to install ubuntu on a PC if you should need one. Just search how to install ubuntu. Once ubuntu is installed and you are at the desktop open a terminal with, ctrl+alt+T, and type: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:falk-tj/qtsixa {your password} Then type: sudo apt-get install qtsixa Once installed plug in your ps3 controller into the PC and start the program by typing, qtsixa in the terminal.
